  Aurelia is fully potty trained! She had a great 3 year check up with her doctor.

  ok, i haven't been good about keeping up with our site this summer. oops -- david only owns the company. . .
  
  so, we've moved. that's the big event of the past few months. the adoption is plodding along -- so this website will be called the magnificent viner girls. aurelia is larger than life; her personality is truly blossoming. she a joy to watch. i hope we capture some of her greatness in these photos and videos.

  In case the trend is too subtle from the last few months of pictures, please know that Aurelia love princesses, specifically Snow White. She also prefers to wear a costume to "regular" clothes. In April we went to Disneyland and met Snow White. Aurelia, of course, was wearing her Snow White costume. Snow White told Aurelia that she liked her dress. A month later Aurelia will still say "i met Snow White. She like mine dress."

  Aurelia got a pair of rain boots last week. They're the only shoes she wants to wear. The first night we got them, she woke up crying and came out to find us. She was wearing her rain boots although she hadn't gone to bed that way. So, although she desperately wanted to find us, clearly putting her rain boots back on was her top priority.

  Aurelia is learning her ABC's. She has the ending down pat: "double x, y & z." If you try to suggest that it's "w, x, y & z," she looks at you like you're from outer space. Very sweet.

  Aurelia's love of Elmo grows daily. She no longer eats eggs, but she will eat "elmo eggs." In general, if "x" is unacceptable, "elmo x" almost certainly is ok.

  Clothing size update. Aurelia is still in 2T dresses and pants, but 3T shirts. Her shoe size is 9W.

  Aurelia is talking up a storm now! She says at least one new word a day. She's also developed a speech "quirk." She says "now" at the end of every thought, even if she's not asking for something. Very sweet.

  Aurelia's learning to jump. She crouches low and then quickly stands and ends by throwing her hands in the air. Her feet don't leave the ground, but it's not for a lack of trying.
